Introduction

introduction: the act of introducing or the state of being introduced 

Greetings and salutations. My name is Lauryn and I am the one who has seemingly created this blog. Since this blog just happens to be labeled 'Introduction' I guess that is what I will be doing. 

Well to start off, my name is Lauryn, as I already stated. I am 14 years old, and just so happen to be turning 15 in November. I am quite tall for my age and gender, which I guess isn't all that interesting. 

I am in about 100 fandoms, all very different from each other. I tend to listen to a lot of musicals, and also a lot of alternative/indie bands. I have recently been listening to more of a screamo genre lately as well. 

I like to read, although I don't do it very often. I write more than I read, hence why I created this blog. I have a Wattpad account which is pretty empty. On there I write fanfictions which aren't the best, but I do update almost every day. I also have been working on a huge project, which is my book. It doesn't have a set name yet, but it is about hanahaki disease which is a myth in the Asian culture. 

I really enjoy music. In fact, music is one of my favorite things in the world. I play a few instruments, although I tend to play the ukulele more than anything else. I like to find smaller bands and obsess over them, which isn't very good cause no one else has ever heard of them, so I am the only one in the fandom. I listen to a lot of alternative and indie rock, like I mentioned above. In those two genres my main bands would be Twenty One Pilots and McCafferty. I also enjoy various other bands, but I am sure no one would like to read a long list of all the bands and singers I listen to. 

As I mentioned above, I enjoy musicals. I prefer to listen to the more recent musicals that came out in the past 10 years or so. Although, if you find me a good musical that is pretty old and has upbeat songs, I just might enjoy it. My top three musicals would be Heathers as number one, Hamilton as number two, and Be More Chill as a close number three. 

One last thing that I consider a hobby would be filming and editing videos. I have my own YouTube channel, which seems to be doing alright. I love writing scripts, or filming covers. I also have been trying to make some of those really cool edits you see on YouTube. I like editing photos as well, which I have been doing for a few months. I used to have photoshop, but as I am broke I could only use the 10 day free trial. 

The last thing I would like to mention would be one of my biggest fandoms. That is k-pop. I first got into BTS and then it just progressed from there. Although I have not been into k-pop for long, I already have quite the long playlist, along with a BTS album. I also like Block B, Pentagon, SHINee, Seventeen, and Twice. They are all amazing bands that deserve so much recognition.
